Recently, the Hunan Provincial Bureau of Quality Supervision announced the results of supervision and spot checks on the quality of fiber textile products. In 2011, 729 batches of fiber textiles were sampled twice, involving more than 200 manufacturing enterprises in the province. The samples that were spotted were mainly cotton and cotton products (including battings, flower quilts, etc.), bedding (including bed sheets, quilts, pillow cases, etc.) and Clothing products (including student clothes, military training clothes, labor insurance clothes, casual wear, shirts, T-shirts, etc.). Among them, 183 batches of cotton wadding products were spot checked, 180 batches of bedding were sampled, and 366 batches of clothing products were sampled. Judging from the test results, the quality of cotton and crap products is relatively good, with a pass rate of 96.7%; followed by bedding, with a pass rate of 90.6%; and the quality issue is relatively high for apparel products, with a pass rate of only 64.5%.
The province's textile and textile production enterprises are mainly concentrated in Changsha, Zhuzhou, Xiangtan, Yiyang, and Yueyang, among which Changsha and Zhuzhou are mostly companies, accounting for 60% of the province's textile and textile products companies. Judging from the unqualified inspection items, the raw materials of the sliver-cotton products, which are mainly part of the slivers, did not meet the standard requirements. Of the 6 unqualified products, 5 were unqualified. The beddings were mainly the color fastness to rubbing and the unsatisfactory compositional content of wet rubbing. Of the 17 substandard products, 14 were unacceptable in terms of color fastness to rubbing, accounting for 82.4%, and 3 were unacceptable, accounting for 17.6%. The quality problems in apparel products are mainly due to unsatisfactory content of ingredients, pH value and color fastness. A small amount of products have excessive formaldehyde and pilling.
