flat s spends springtime in colorado

We recently caught up with Flat S again. Since her last update, she journeyed westward towards the Continental Divide and stopped by the Knowles family in Colorado. Today, Mom Sandi Knowles is here to share some exciting updates about Flat S's adventures. Flat S arrived in Windsor, Colorado during a bustling period, which she found absolutely delightful. I suspect she thought we had meticulously planned it all for her arrival—don't let her know it was just a happy coincidence! She had the chance to attend one of our Girl Scout Brownie troop meetings. Those girls are such a joy, and I love being involved as a leader for Clara’s troop. [Insert image of Flat S at the Girl Scout meeting] It was a fantastic experience for her to immerse herself in the troop’s activities. The energy was contagious, and she thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the girls. Later, Flat S visited the Denver US Mint. Unfortunately, photography wasn't allowed inside, but she did get an incredible behind-the-scenes tour of how coins are made. [Insert image of Flat S outside the mint] The wind was quite fierce that day, making it challenging for her to pose with the kids before heading inside. [Insert image of Flat S braving the wind] Thankfully, by the time we wrapped up the tour and explored the gift shop, the wind had settled down. [Insert image of Flat S at the gift shop] Flat S also had the opportunity to learn about blacksmithing at the Colorado Classic Horse Show. She watched as a farrier demonstrated how horse shoes are crafted. [Insert image of Flat S observing the farrier] Even though it was a bit tricky to capture a clear shot due to the heat emanating from the metal, Flat S managed to snap a memorable photo. [Insert image of Flat S near the forge] Afterward, Flat S joined us for a special evening at the Downtown Aquarium in Denver. It was an exclusive event that included dinner and a guided tour of the exhibits. [Insert image of Flat S at the aquarium] Before dinner, Flat S had a delightful chat with Erik in the ballroom. They shared stories and laughed over their shared experiences. [Insert image of Flat S and Erik conversing] The aquarium was a visual feast, with both large and small displays showcasing the beauty of marine life. There were even tigers, although they weren’t visible during our visit. If you ever find yourself in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. [Insert image of Flat S admiring the sea life] Flat S particularly loved the large tanks, filled with colorful fish and other aquatic creatures. [Insert image of Flat S near the large tank] Since we don’t have a big yard or other dogs for Waylon and Oliver to play with, we frequently head to the dog park for their weekly romp. On this particular day, Flat S chose to stay safe in my bag while watching the chaos unfold. [Insert image of Flat S in the bag] There were so many dogs that day, and it was quite a spectacle to witness. [Insert image of the crowded dog park] Following the excitement, a nap on the couch was inevitable. I think Flat S might have even dozed off in the car earlier. [Insert image of Flat S sleeping] Of course, we kept checking the Oliver + S website regularly for updates. [Insert image of Flat S browsing the website] Flat S asked me to take a picture of the scenic view along our main road so you could all see the breathtaking Rockies from our town. The wind was relentless once again, so she stayed put in the car for this shot. Springtime here can be quite breezy! [Insert image of the Rocky Mountains] Having Flat S stay with us was a blast, and I hope you enjoyed catching a glimpse of life in our corner of the world. Perhaps one day she’ll return during warmer, calmer weather so we can take her on a camping trip in the mountains. Thanks so much for hosting her, Sandi! As always, we’re eager to see where her next adventure takes her. [End of post]

Ladies' Two Piece Sets

We love how polished a two piece set looks when worn together. Matching or co-ord sets were a huge trend that we saw take off this year and for good reason! They re super cute, and you can always mix and match them with other pieces in your wardrobe. They are different kinds of sets ones that have pants, skirts, or shorts as the bottom piece, for example. The tops might be different styles too like in sleeve length, but what makes a co-ord set is that both pieces are made from the same material, color, and print. Take advantage of the summer weather and try out a tube top set or a crop top set. We've got tons of sets so don`t hesitate to explore all of our options .
